History of the Stage DoorAlan & Linda Scott, moved to Florida from Nottingham, England in 1992. They opened The Stage Door that same year with their son Jason, joining them in 1993. Their aim was to provide traditional food & drink in a traditional, family style, British Pub atmosphere. With Alan's experience as a professional entertainer, he soon took to the idea of providing entertainment for their customers and included Karaoke, which is still popular today. Linda used her skills as a Mum and started working in the kitchen, while Jason learned a completely new career as a barman. 19 years later, they are still here, providing great food & entertaining guests all year long, making the longest established British Pub in the area, with visitors returning year after year.

Nottingham Coat of Arms
The arms were officially recognised by the College of Arms in 1614, but it is not known how long they had been in use. They depict a rough, wooden cross in green, rising out of the base of a red shield, between two open crowns of gold with a similar crown round the lower limb of the cross.
